I have always been upfront about the fact that I love Torchwood more than Doctor Who because come on? When has Doctor Who ever done anything like Children of Earth? Plus I love this team of beautiful sexy idiots who bumble around sleeping with gay aliens and making problems worse and then just shooting everything because they are terrible. And while Ianto is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters and secret spirit animal (I identify with his sassy frustration with everything) who doesn’t love Captain Jack? Answer, no one.
I’d love to remake this costume sometime because look at baby cosplay me thinking I didn’t need a wig! Bless. I am actually really happy with how this coat came out though, which was the only part of the costume I made from scratch. Once day I’d really like to bring the rest of the costume up to its level but for now it’s going to have to sit here, abandoned, like I have been by my favorite show. #bringbacktorchwood
